It’s Sherston, but not as you know it…The launch of Early Years at Nursery World 2016
Last week saw the Sherston team descend upon the Business Design Centre, Islington, to exhibit for two days at Nursery World 2016, armed with a brand new product offering dedicated to the early years market.
The Sherston Early Years platform of curriculum-mapped educational apps was unveiled for the first time at the show, much to the excitement of both current Sherston followers and new contacts alike.
The event was buzzing with over 2,000 nursery owners, managers and teachers - all on the lookout for the latest products, resources, and tools to enhance their businesses and teaching practices.
To mark the occasion and launch of Sherston Early Years, David Hart, Sherston’s Chief Product Officer and the brain behind the apps themselves, gave insights into his experience gained in designing apps for children. In a seminar session as part of the show’s live theatre, David showed the do’s and don’ts of designing software for kids, highlighting just how important educational tech can be at early years level.
Keep an eye out for David's post on his '10 things I learned' taken from his presentation at the show, and we’ll have more news on the Sherston Early Years platform coming very, very soon…watch this space!
