Sherston have today announced the recruitment of digital education expert Vicky Cottrill, signaling a positive development in future plans for the creators of world-class online educational products for children.

 As one of the first companies to provide digital content for Early Years and Primary schools, Sherston have always been at the forefront of digital education, enabling teachers to boost pupil performance with curriculum-mapped videos, games and digital media resources.

 As Sherston’s Head of Product, Vicky Cottrill brings a wealth of digital education expertise to the brand, with experience working for Discovery Education (formerly Espresso Education) for over eight years, creating and leading the development of award-winning digital educational content.

 As a trained teacher with experience in the classroom, Vicky’s move to Sherston reinforces the ‘by teachers, for teachers’ ethos behind the entire portfolio of Sherston products, and will allow the brand to develop content which provides teachers of all confidence levels the ability to deliver high standards of teaching, to enable pupils to progress quickly and to learn best practices for deep and embedded learning.
